I LOVED these! Got them home and they fit fine in the waist but the hips and butt are SOOOO BAGGY that I'm not going to be able to keep them! :( So now it's a 45 mile drive back to the store to return them. I don't understand why they are made so big through the butt and hips.

1st day of school 2011

I cannot believe it's the first day of school already! Where did summer go! I'm being very emotional about summer being gone but I think it's because this summer was so hard on our family and I feel like all it was was lost time that I can't make up. Ryan took the kids to school because once again I didn't feel good. Big surprise! :( I'm trying to have faith that I can and will be healed but it's hard. Especially when all I want to do is be a om and wife. It's all I've ever wanted to do! So once again this morning I am feeling guilty. But enough about me! Here are some pics of my adorable kiddos! I can't believe they are so grown up! Makes me so sad! MaShayla is in 7th grade, Keaton is in 5th, and Kyler is in 2nd. Love my babies so so much! And yes! They will ALWAYS be my babies!! :)

I just have to get this off of my chest. I miss the days when I felt good. when I could be a mom. When I could take care of my family. I miss the days when I could get out of bed and not have to run to the bathroom or puke or try not to puke everyday. I miss the days when I could take the kids to their activities or appointments and not have to schedule around Ryan's work so he was there to help me in case I was having a really bad day and can't get out of bed. I miss the days when I was me! My kids are growing up so fast and I've missed out on a lot because of my health. I feel like all they are going to remember when they grow up is when they would ask if we could go do something and all they are going to remember is me saying "not today guys. I don't feel good." I'm so over this. I want to just feel good! I want to just be able to take care of my family. I want to scream "this isn't fair!" But I'm trying not to because so many others have been through so much more than me. It's affecting me. It's affecting my kids. It's affecting my marriage. I'm lost and don't know what to do or try anymore. All I ever wanted to be when I grew up was a mom and a wife and I can't even do that anymore. I sit and cry so much because I feel so guilty. I envy those moms who can go to all of their kids activities/appointments and not have to worry about if they are going to feel well enough to go. I get angry at the moms that complain about how much running around they have to do with their kids because I would give ANYTHING to be able to run my kids from place to place to place and not have to worry about if I have my meds or a puke bag or where the bathroom is or did I pack a snack in case I get lightheaded. I envy my sisters for everything they do with/for their kids and their families. My kids would be so much better off with a different mom. Sometimes I think I shouldn't have had kids because they deserve so much more than I have given them. They're such good kids and deserve so much more than me. Mu husband deserves so much more than me. I'm tired and I'm sick of fighting for everyday. I guess if I had answers as to why I am still sick it would be better because then at least I would know what I was facing. Right now I don't know what I am facing. Everything is unknown.

Tuesday night I got a call from the man who schedules the bishop's appointments asking me if I could come in for an interview Wednesday night. Of course I was hesitant! We all know what that means when the bishop wants to meet with you! But I said yes and Wed. night I had an appointment. I kept racking my brain trying to figure out what they may be calling me to help with. None of them I could think of sounded very appealing! lol Wednesday I got to meet up with a very dear friend, Jen, whom I haven't seen for almost 3 years. She told me that she had been called as den leader and that the scouts were meeting at her house that afternoon and that's when it hit me! CRAP! I'm going to be called as den leader! I started thinking right then how I could tell them no! lol Now some of you might be thinking right now how rude I am being but if anyone really knows me they now why I thought this. I DO NOT do well in public! Going out into public makes me literally have anxiety attacks and sick! I hate it! So I went to my interview and sure enough that's what they called me to help with. I hesitantly said yes because I know with callings come blessings and at this point I was going on faith! I came home and sat in the chair and literally bawled for a like an hour! I know nothing about scouts! I feel very insignificant for this calling and don't feel like the boys are going to benefit from my being there at all! But again, I'm trying to go on faith here! So that's where I am for now! Operating on faith and hoping that Heavenly Father will answer my prayers with some other things that have been going on lately! I am welcome to any help or tips you can give me for scouts!

We had a lot of fun on St. Patrick's day this year! We're not Irish and have never done much for the day but I decided this year to change it up a little! I bought the kids all a St. Patrick's Day shirt (except for Keaton because they didn't have any in his size so he got a green tap out shirt) and I eve got a shirt for my self! :) We also had corned beef and cabbage for the first time EVER! Everyone really liked the corned beef but the boys weren't a big fan of the cabbage! We then finished up the day with some March Madness! ;)

Snow Much FUN!!

Right before Christmas we got the biggest snowstorm I have seen in a long to while! We got pretty close to 24" of snow! IT was crazy! It snowed for almost 4 days straight!

We set this bowl out to catch snow so we could make snow cream. We set it out at about 10:00 on Sunday night and brought it in about 8:00 Monday morning. That's how much snow we got just over night!! CRAZY!!!

WOW!! She's 12!! When in the heck did that happen? I feel like I had some years stolen or something! There's no way she can be that old! I'm so proud of the young lady she is tho and can't wait to see the woman she will become! We had a lot of fun at her birthday party! We did a mystery dinner and a funky sock exchange. I also made a concession stand and served treats for the movie. We had strawberry crepes and sausage for breakfast.

Every year our church puts on a sacrament meeting where the kids get to do the program. They each have a speaking part and there are songs through out it. Today was our program. It was kind of bitter sweet because it's my daughter's last year to do it before she turns 12 and moves from primary to young woman's. So I was feeling sad and and was watching h er through out the program since it was her last year. But during one of the songs (A Child's Prayer, there are 2 parts. One part the boys sing and the other part the girls sing.) I could hear this young man's voice. I look over and it's Keaton. Standing up tall and straight and singing beautifully. He then said his part and you cold tell that he was really glad to be there and he believed what he was saying. I felt so moved by the spirit and so proud of my son. The closing song was I know that my savior loves me. And the children were to sing the first verse and the congregation join in on the 2nd verse. So they sang: A long time ago in a beautiful place, children were gathered round Jesus. He blessed and taught as they felt of His love. Each saw the tears on his face. The love that He felt for His little ones I know he feels for me. I did not touch Him or sit on His knee, yet Jesus is real to me. By this time I was bawling because Keaton was standing so tall and singing so adamantly! So I proceeded to try hard to sing the second verse. Which is: Now I am here in a beautiful place, learning the teachings of Jesus. Parents and teachers will help guide the way, lighting my path every day. Wrapped in the arms of my savior's love, I feel his gentle touch. Living each day I will follow His way, home to my father above. We have struggled some with Keaton but in that moment it felt as if everything was right with the world. The last few weeks he has been a totally different boy and I know I am not the only one that has noticed! During the song today, a woman sitting behind me leaned up and said. "Keaton is doing such a GREAT job!" And then again today after church was over, his primary teacher came up to me and said, "I LOVE having him in class! He is an absolute sweetheart! This made my heart so proud! After church I told him how proud I was of him and what a great job he did and he got a huge smile on his face but didn't say much. A couple of minutes later he walked into the kitchen and put his arm around me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. This coming from a boy that a few months ago wouldn't even let me hug him and would get angry if I tried. I don't know what had changed the last little while....maybe it's him and maybe it's just me trying to be more calm and patient with him. And maybe it's a little of both. But I am loving seeing the young man he is turning into! Now don't get me wrong! I know we'll still have some bad days, but I am going to take today and relish it!!

3 years ago today.....

My Life changed FOREVER! We lost our sweet Lilly! We took all the kids with us for the ultrasound so we could see her and instead of seeing a baby wiggling and squirming with a heartbeat, we saw a very still baby with no heartbeat. A piece of me died that day and it is something that you will never fully recover from. And yes, when I am alone, I still cry sometimes. But I do have some comfort too. The picture of Jesus with the baby is titled "Arms of His Love." Every year, in April, to Honor Lilly I buy Lilies. They are always so gorgeous and it helps bring me peace. This last December I found this picture and I had to buy it! It brings me so much peace to know that Lilly is being loved and held by such comforting arms of Jesus. She left us right before Easter, 3 years ago, but that helps me cope because I am reminded of Christ's sacrifice for us and that because of Him I can see her again someday! I LOVE YOU MY SWEET ANGEL!! Until we meet again......

The kids started school on August 25th and talk about your mixed reactions! MaShayla was soooo excited to get back but can't reach her top locker! lol Keaton just wanted to go to school with out his mommy! :( And Kyler was ok until we got there! He started screaming mommy mommy and wouldn't let me leave. I ran our of the school as fast as I could so he wouldn't see me crying. Finally after 5 days he made a friend and now he runs to the playground telling me goodbye! So that makes me a lil sad because now he really doesn't need me! :( I am going to send him with MaShayla tomorrow and see if we still have goo luck. It could be hard because we've had such a long break. I am just praying that he still does well! So here are a few pics of the 1st day of school!

Man I am having a hard time keeping this updated! Don't know if anyone will even be around to read this anymore. So if you are checking it, please leave me a comment so I know if it is worth still updating. :)

Fair time: Keaton's first year this year and he decided to make a bird house. I can't wait to hang it in the yard!

MaShayla had a good year this year and won grand champion jr. photography, with this picture,
grand champion jr. ready to wear model, and reserve champion jr. constructed model. She also won the chance to go to state fair and compete in modeling!

MaShayla and Keaton both decided to try and catch rabbits in the catch and show competition and they were the 1st 2 to catch so I guess next year we will have rabbits to take to fair! Oh the fun begins. They will both have to write letters to their donors each month and will receive their rabbits next June to get ready for fair and then they will show them and sell them at fair.

Gina had her baby! Marci Rae decided to join us! 6 lbs 8 oz and 18.5 incges long. She's soooo dinky!

Kyler got glasses! Ain't he cute?? He failed his eye check at kindergarten screening so I decided I'd get him to the eye doc! Dr. Wortham said he has a VERY bad astigmatism in his left eye and a lazy eye....which we have never noticed because he told us in a very small percentage of kids with lazy eyes, both eyes track normal so you'd never know it. He didn't want them and he cried for 1.5 hours while we tried to pick glasses out. He kept saying, "I don't want glasses!" To which I kept saying, "you don't have a choice. We have to get them." He has to wear the glasses for 30 days and then go back and if his left eye hasn't improved at all, he will have to wear a patch! :(

Can you believe my baby boy is 1 already?? Where did that year go? I think that has been the fastest year EVER and one of the hardest! But I could care less how fussy he was for that first year or that he still doesn't sleep at night! I know the pain of losing a child and I wouldn't change it for ANYTHING!! He is so dang cute and funny! I don't know what I'd do without him! I love him so much!

Playing Catch-Up!!

We have been majorly busy and have missed posting a BUNCH of things! So I am just going to put them in 1 big post so.....bare with me! :)

Kamdyn's 11 month page, stats, and accident:

Can you believe it? My baby boy is almost a year old! It makes me soooo sad! :( Next month I will be posting pics of his 1st birthday party! Where in the holy heck did time go? He is now 19 lbs 2 oz and is 28" long. We also found out that he will FOR SURE need his tonsils out but we are TRYING to wait until he gets a little bit older. At least for 4 months. I would like to make it to age 2 because if they are younger than age 2, they have to stay in the hospital over night. He is so close to walking! He could, if he would quit being a chicken! He'll take 4 or 5 steps and then just sit down! He jumps in mid air, with both feet OFF the ground and then he will look and me and giggle! He is such a sweet, sweet boy! On the 13th we had a BIG OWIE happen! He grabbed grandma C's wood burning stove. He screamed for 2 hours until he finally wore himself out. I felt so bad! It made me so upset! Poor baby boy! :(

Kyler's Preschool Recognition Day:

Kyler had a little graduation at his preschool and it was so fun to go to! He got a little certificate and got to show us the books and songs he liked and we got to make and eat ice cream sundaes! Then I got to go outside and play with him! In the one picture he is swinging next to a little girl that was in his class and she always says she is going to grow up and marry that "red headed Kyler!" She is such a cute, special little girl!

We went up to help dad brand a couple of weekends ago and it had been awhile! I don't think I have ever gotten pictures of dad branding so this year I decided to take some.

Mother's Day:

Mother's Day this year was kind of a bummer because Ry worked graves and I got to see him about 45 min. But that's ok! I got awesome cards from my kids and 2 carnations from KyLeigh and an awesome purse! I also realized I didn't have any pics with my mom so we started having fun and taking snapshots! It was also Tom's missionary farewell and MaShayla wanted a pic of her and him to put in the time capsule they are doing for school this year and they will open it when they are seniors. So here is just a bunch of random snapshots from mother's day!

MaShayla's Dance and Piano Recital:

MaShayla had her spring dance recital and her very first piano recital. I am so bummed I didn't have camcorder to record her 1 clogging dance! :( It was soooo AWESOME!!! Her piano sounded wonderful for just starting lessons 6 months ago. I am so proud of her! I can't get my piano video to upload so I guess pics will have to do! :(

Kyler's preschool's field trip to Grandma and Grandpa's ranch:

Every year one of the preschools here goes to my mom and dad's ranch for a field trip. This year Kyler got to go to because he goes to that school. He was so excited to take the kids to Grandma's and show them all of the neat stuff there! I hope the kids had a lot of fun!!

Pine Wood Derby

Last Thursday was Keaton's first pine wood derby. When you run a pine wood derby they have a series of 4 races and then they total the time and those with the best time win. He got 2nd place, 3rd place, 2nd place, and then another 2nd place. He ended up taking 2nd place in his troop and gets to go to districts on the 21st! YAY!!!

This past week was pretty awesome! MaShayla got citizen of the month, Keaton got a managing me award for reading and Kyler had his me day at preschool. I thought it was so cool that it all landed on the same week and they each got a little bit of the spotlight. MaShayla tried her hardest to be everyone's friend and Keaton has read so much more lately and has passed all of the required reading. And Kyler had his special day at preschool and got to share his favorite things. He took his hospital scrapbook, from when he was born, his blanket, horse and dragon. And then he took the teeacher's favorite treats.....Reeses peanut butter cups and reeses pieces. I am so proud of all of them!

I am so sad you are growing so fast and getting so big but I am excited to see the man you will become! It seems like just yesterday that they put you in my arms for the first time. I remember looking at you and saying. "Ryan, look! He has red hair!" And since then I don't know how many times I have heard women say, "Do you know how much women pay for hair that color" or "if only we could bottle that color!" LOL You have said so many funny things over the years and you just make me giggle! Like the time you got the bubble wrap and you told me you were going to take a bubble bath. Or the time you told me hippies were extinct. Oh! You have quite the "make believe" bone in your little body! I love how you still need your mommy and cling to me as long as you can, til the very last second, when I take you to preschool or primary. I will miss you so much when you start kindergarten in the fall! I love how you have always been my boy and hope you always will be! I love you sweetie! I hope you have a WONDERFUL birthday!

Kyler's birthday isn't actually til the 28th but his party was tonight so here are all the pics of his cake, presents and him! :) The cake was a pain to make, especially when I couldn't get one the cakes out of the pan. I ended up baking 4 cakes and 24 cupcakes. I made the cupcakes to resemble the clover that Horton hold in his trunk. Horton, himself, consists of 3 cakes to start out with. Then you have to trim and shape him and so I have a lot of pieces of cake laying around! It seems like an awful lot of work (4 hours) for it to just be destroyed and served! But I know Kyler appreciated it and loved it! This will probably be his last big family party since he starts school this fall. We will be moving on to a family party with just us and then a friend party. So, Thanks to all who came and for the presents.

Kamdyn's hair was getting a little long on top and too long to spike up so I decided I would give him a haircut...BAD IDEA!!! He was so ticked afterwards that I forgot to even get an after pic so I wil l have to get one later. He was not happy about it at all! POOR KID!! Needless to say, I gave up...just got the top trimmed...nothing else!(These pics are all before and during...)

We just did the usual at our house for Easter this year. We Dyed Easter eggs and we ate dinner with my side of the family at my house. We did eggs and I decided to get a lil creative and we got out the acrylic paints to paint our eggs. This one is mine. I know not great but, hey, I had fun!

The kids got camel bak water bottles and candy from the Easter bunny except for Kam. He got a sigg pooh one that is way cute! He must have known how sick and tired I was of all the cheap, junky ones that the kids collect and are laying around the house! I am glad to be rid of them! Then we gave them church outfits and a couple of summer outfits.

One of these days Keaton won't cry when it comes to taking pictures!!

A little piece of me died.......Two years ago my world fell apart for a while....Two years ago I felt the worst pain ever.... Two years ago my baby girl went to heaven.....

Two years ago was the worst pain I have ever felt. I know you have all heard the story so I won't repeat it and I debated whether posting this or not because I didn't want people to think "Oh here we go again." But I need to post it for me. I need to mourn her this day. There is no way I could get through this day without thinking of her and I need to write my feelings out. If you don't want to read it then that is fine but I need to vent. This is the only picture I have of my baby girl and it is when she was still alive and well.

Don't get me wrong, I am very thankful for the children we have and very grateful for Kamdyn and that we were able to have another baby after losing Lilly. But she was my child too and I REFUSE to forget her. I never held her but I felt her. She grew under my heart for 19 weeks and I loved her so much already. I know there is a plan and if i do everything I need to, I WILL see her again, but it seems like such a long time until I really get to meet her and get to know her.

I am going to the Bokay today and getting me some Lillies to honor her. Maybe I will post a picture of those later. I am trying to be strong today. You would think after two years it wouldn't hurt this bad still, but on certain days it does.

I am so thankful for those who have been here with me along the way when I needed someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on!!

When we were in Rock Springs for MaShayla's basketball tournament, we went and ate lunch at Winger's and this was the kid's menu and game sheet. Kyler was just drawing lines in these boxes (that's why some of them have extra lines in them, he was drawing those before he knoew what he was suppose to do.)and then asked MaShayla what you were suppose to do with this game. She told him that you were suppse to find the picture on the wheel that was to the side and then put the letter that matched underneathe the picture. So he sat and did it all by himself! I didn't even know he was doing it until he said, "There! I'm done!" I thought he wrote pretty good and nice and neat for a 4 year old!! WAY TO GO KY!!

BUT we will rescue Lyman when they need an extra player!! LOL!! MaShayla got invited to go and play in a basket ball tournament with the Lyman girls yesterday. Tom (the head basketball coach for Lyman, and Ryan's college room mate, and his daughter Alyx, is MaShayla's best friend and just 2 weeks younger) was kind enough to ask MaShayla if she wanted to come play with the girls. She said "ya" and he said, "You'll have to wear a Lyman uniform." And she said, " I don't care as long as I get to play basketball!" and I thought EXACTLY!! It doesn't matter who you play for when you really want to play, does it?! We heard many times yesterday "how good MaShayla looks in blue" and Autumn (Tom's wife) said she would petition Mtn View's school board so she could take MaShayla to Lyman! LOL! I told her it wouldn't work because my brother is on the school board. We had a lot of fun yesterday and it was a good experience and MaShayla played her little butt off! Tom is a wonderful coach and she learned a lot!! THANKS TOM!! We really appreciate all you do for us!

At one of the Lyman vs. Mtn View games this year, Tom had one of his girl's run to Ryan in the stands and hand him a Lyman tshirt. I told Autumn, "Thanks for the new rag!" LOL! Little did I know that one of my children would be wearing it! But only in this situation....or only when I don't want him wearing a good shirt, that could get ruined! I kid! I kid! ;)

MaShayla got extra effort in school for the month of March which does not surprise me in the least! She is always going above and beyond helping out wherever she is needed! She will do anything I need her to do around the house and is such a special spirit! I am so lucky to have her in my life! Somedays I don't know what I'd do without her. Not just because she helps so much but also because she is one of my best friends and she makes me laugh! And who else would dance with me on the kitchen when I feel like clogging! LOL!! You have to love my husband! Everytime I do the menu the kids get to pick a recipe that they want and can help make. This time Kyler said he want schiskabobs (however you spell that!) and so I put it on the menu. Little did I know that the day we were going to make them, it was going to drop a bunch of snow, when just 2 days before it had been 65* But Ryan was not about to let Kyler down! Bar J Wranglers

We got to go and see the Bar J Wranglers perform in Lyman last Thursday. They are always so fun to go to and the kids love them! They are hilarious!! And when "grandma" takes the stage it's hilarious!! This year she treated us to her rendition of Old MacDonald had a farm. Her's is titled "Dear Old Granny had an Altered Farm" It consisted of a flatulent dog, hicupping snake, narcoleptic pig, dyslexic sheep and a sneezing cow. MaShayla and Keaton helped my family move cows home on Saturday....BUT it was not a typical move the cows home kinda day! MaShayla stole grandpa's horse and so grandpa ended up driving the truck home....

then Keaton wanted to help but we didn't have a horse he could ride so he did it on his bike! LOL!! He rode that thing the WHOLE 10 miles!!

Then there is this goat..who thinks she is a COW! She wouldn't leave the cows when they moved them to winter pasture last fall so she went with them and this spring, she led the way home!
So it was quite a sight!

Can you believe it?! Where in the heck did time go?! It makes me so sad! He is not suppose to grow up! :( Before I know it he will be 1 and then I'll really lose it! LOL!! He weighs 18.6 lbs and is 27 1/4" long. He has gained almost 10 lbs since he was born! Now if we could only teach him to sleep! But I will deal with it because I would rather have him here not sleeping than not here at all! So I will take the extra awake time at night! :)

MaShayla is playing jr. jazz again this season. She loves basketball and has improved SOOO much from last fall's season. She has scored 10 and 12 points a game except for 2 or 3 games. They haven't lost a game and they are having a great time! She is such an awesome defensive player and if you have the ball, look out! She'll get it from you! I can't believe how aggressive she is and she is such a little hustler! Her last game is this Wednesday and I know she is going to miss it!

Saturday I was getting ready to cut Keaton's hair and he was sitting on a chair at the top of the stairs and Kyler was standing on the top stair behind the gate. I didn't realize he was there because I was looking for a sheet to put on Keaton. Well I guess he started pulling back and forth on the top of the gate and next thing I hear is a big crash and Shay screaming. For those that don't know our stairs are hardwood with tile at the bottom! I came running and he was just laying there not saying anything! I started down the stairs when he finally jumped up and came running to me screaming. So after it all he ended up being ok other than a bruise down his spine, 1 on his ankle and a headache. I was so scared! He has always been a mommy's boy and it scared me to death as the thought flashed through my mind that he might not be in my life anymore! I love this picture of him. Sherry caught it when we were doing family pics. He sooo didn't want his individual picture taken that night!

We got him a truck that he loves and I am so happy for him We bought it at Barber Brothers in Morgan, UT and we ate lunch at the best place EVER!! A lil place called Taggart's. AWESOME food (I had a apple ham wrap, YUMMERS! and Ry had a chicken portobello mushroom pasta with pine nuts! WAY GOOD!) and ever BETTER dessert! We couldn't decide on the yummy desserts they had! Rapberry chocolate cheescake, Carmel cheesecake, cheesecake brownie, carrot cake, macaroon cookies, peanut butter surprise cookies, sugar cookies...need I go on? And these things are HUGE and ALL homemade! We will definately be going back!

This is a story that MaShayla had to write for school and I think it's very cute so I had to share! Cody is Weston and Brittany's son, so our nephew and MaShayla's cousin. She loves him so much and they are really good buds! I wish I had a picture of them together to put with this but I don't! :(

"Can I go see them?" I pleaded.
"Sure." But she kind of didn't know I was going because I sort of snuck away quietly while she was looking for a streachy headband.
We were at Walmart looking for the bathroom scales and all of a sudden I see my 2 year old cousin in a cart by his mom and his older 4 year old brother. I went to say hi and Cody looked at me and gave me the biggest hug I've ever seen a 2 year old give. I told Cody and Kyce hi and Kyce said, "I gonna get my movie!"
"Cool." I said. I gave them all a hug and I could tell Kyce was excided about his movie because he kept telling me the same thing. My mom finally came over to say hi, but of course she didn't know I even left.
"Kay well we'll see you guys later. I think we're coming to your house later." I explained I started to wave and walk away just as I hear Cody started to cry.
"Bye Cody." I said
"Me want mom." he kept saying as I walked away, turned, and I was thinking
"He loves me so much."
He kept saying "come back mom."
So I finally go back. I start laghing and he taps me.
"Up mom!" he told me. I asked Brittany and she said "Not right now but maybe when you come to our house you can."
"Kay." I said. Cody kept crying and saying "Up mom!"
"When I go to your hous I will hold you."
"Tay." he saddly said.
"Kay see you guys later." I informed.
"Oh tay bye." Cody said crying kinda.
On our way to get lunch I was sitting in the car while we were rolling down the road say to my self....

So it seems that our bad week isn't over yet! On Saturday we got ready to go to the Mtn. View Lyman game to watch Kaycee play. We weren't there for 30 min. when Kyler said he had a headache and was cold. So I packed him and the baby up and headed home. He has ran a fever off and on all weekend and all three boys weren't feeling the best. So this morning I loaded up everyone to go get strep tests. ALL 3 boys have strep! UGH!! I am so ready for a break! Don't get me wrong, I am VERY grateful that, for the most part, we are all healthy and that we have a wonderful home, family, and community BUT.....things just start wearing on you after so long! Ya know?!

Oh! What a week this has been!

It all started on Saturday. I have had a bad tooth that I have been fighting for 8.5 years and it finally abscessed. I woke up and the abscess was on the roof of my mouth and had a white head on it and was hanging down as far as my teeth do. So Ryan shoved a paper towel in the back of my throat and sprayed with chloraseptic and then proceeded to pop it and drain it. I kept draining it all weekend off and on.

Then Sunday night we came home from mom and dad's and Keaton wanted some ravioli's. He opened the can with the can opener but 2 sides didn't cut through all the way. He tried to pop it out and cut his thumb! I was downstairs and heard him screaming and Ryan say, "what did you cut it on?" I ran upstairs and found them over the sink with blood everywhere. We left for the ER about 7 that night and he got 5 stitches! He was SO brave and strong! I was so PROUD of him!! The Doctor there was AWESOME and did such a good job with him!

Then Monday I made the dreaded trip to the dentist. He said he's have to pull it and eventually put a temporary in it's place. He worked for quite a while to get it out but it didn't want to give up so easily! He finally got it out and that's when we realized just how bad the infection was. It had eaten up into my pallet and had exposed part of it, then it had started eating into my bone and it had spread to my sinuses. It has been a rough week recovering from that!

Monday night a drunk guy decided to crash his truck into our front yard and then he took off!

Then Tuesday Ryan woke up with a really sore throat. I made him a doctor's appointment and yep! Sure enough, he had strep! He has been so sick! His tonsil actually turned black! I am thinking is not a good sign! I think today he is finally starting to feel better.

Tuesday night I asked MaShayla to bring me my antibiotic and she did. It was whit and looked EXACTLY like my antibiotic. About 45 minutes later I started to feel woozy. Didn't think anything about it until Ryan said. "what is this prescription doing out here?" I said, "oh it's just my antibiot...not it's not! It's Hydrocodone!" Yep! That's right! My daughter had accidentally brought me Ryan's prescription for hydrocodone and drugged me! LOL! That medicine makes me SOO sick! And she felt SOO bad!

Wednesday brought a doctor's appointment for Kamdyn and 2 more shots! I hate those things!! He is still not sleeping on top of all of this and I am exhausted! I am definitely ready for some down time!

My Mother's Ring....

Ryan got me a mother's ring for Christmas and I LOVE it. This 1 you could only get with 6 stones and so he put our anniversary stone(October) in the 1st and 6th place and then put MaShayla, Keaton, Kyler, and Kamdyn in order in the middle. The top has an engraving that says you complete us and the bottom says we love you mom. I couldn't get very good pics of it but here are a couple I got.

Goodie Plates and Christmas Candy!

Ryan and I have started a tradition of making Christmas candy together and then putting together goodie plates for friends and family. This year we made divinity, fudge, candied chex mix, chocolate dipped pretzels and cream cheese mints. YUM!! We had a lot of fun and I enjoy spending that time with him sooo much!!

So Kamdyn hasn't quite mastered the crawling forward thing but he can go backwards quite well! This is a couple of places that e has ended up. Don't ask me how he got UNDER the rug! But it was SOO DANG cute! He was so proud of himself! :)

It makes me so sad!! I can't believe it has been 10 years already! It has been really hard on me and ig I think about it too much I start to cry! Why does time have to go so fast? She is such an asset to this family and is always helping where she can! We are having a Tinkerbell party tonight with her friends and she got a tinkerbell room make over for her birthday. I'll post those pics later this weekend. Here are a few pics of her on a few of her birthday's.

Let's just say that this morning we got an early Christmas present and we are so thankful!! We are having VERY high winds around 50 mph with gusts around 75 mph. I was dressing the baby in his room and Ryan was making breakfast in the kitchen and Kyler was looking out the living room window watching the wind, when we heard a BIG crash! Ryan yells what was that and I come running from the baby's room. Kyler yells duh big twee just feww down! WHAT?? I had taken the garbage out and I heard move the expedition. I thought no big deal I don't need to. I am leaving in just a bit to take Ky to school. Then again, MOVE THE EXPEDITION! So I moved it. The tree landed right where it was!! It could have not landed more perfectly. It fell right between the swingset and house. If it would have come through the window it would have gotten Kyler. It didn't hurt the deck or the swingset! Nothing got hurt!! EVERYTHING is FINE!! We were being watched over this morning! That is for sure!

I can't believe Kamdyn is 5 months old today! Where does the time go? It has gone by so fast! He is really starting to be a lot of fun now and laughing and giggling. He loves the kids and rolls everywhere! He is also very spoiled though and does not like to be set down!! He wants mommy to hold him pretty much all the time! But I don't mind because some day he will be too big for me to hold and he won't even want me to kiss him anymore because,umm, mom, my friends are watching!:( I wish they didn't grow so fast! So mommy has been trying to keep solids away from me but I just keep whining and whining and wanting real food. Well I guess she got sick of me whining everytime she ate because she finally gave in and gave me some weird white pasty stuff. But I don't mind what it looks like because I REALLY like the way it tastes!! YUM YUM!!!!

MaShayla loves animals. But lately she has really taken to horses. She makes sure she wears pants and boots everytime we go to grandma and grandpa carpenter's just in case she can ride that day. She is always asking Uncle Kelly to saddle up Popcorn for her!! I hope one day we can get her a horse of her own!!

Yes I know it's a little late but here are my kiddos on halloween! We had a lot of fun. Ryan had to work so I took the kids trick or treating by myself down our street then we ate pizza. When Ryan came home he took them out trick or treating around town and Kam and I stayed home and handed out candy.

Pumpkin Carving....

We got to carve our pumpkins last night and the kids had a blast. We haven't carved pumpkins since 2005(moving in 2006 and too sick to get off the couch, preggo, in 2007) so the last time we did it Kyler was only 1.5. But Keaton hasn't changed too much as he has gotten older. He still HATES the feel of the pumpkin guts and whines and doesn't want to touch it. In the meanwhile, MaShayla is tearing them out of there as fast as she can! Kyler, as always, is just hanging out and going with the flow and is helping with whatever he can.

We wanted pictures of Kamdyn in a pumpkin but we couldn't find one bit enough so we improvised as best we could!

Every October I rake up the leaves and do pics in the leaves. I never got around to raking the leaves yet but it is getting quite nippy so I wanted to get their fall pics done before it got too much colder. This is what I came up with:

Ok SO I decided I wanted blond highlights and Ryan said he would do them for me. So we went to Benedict's and picked up some dye. He had fun torturing me, pulling my hair through the cap and Kyler had fun taking pics of it.

Then we put the dye on and Ry and I argued about how long to leave it on. I said 30 to 45 min at most and he said oh no your hair is dark enough we need to leave it on for an hour or it will be brassy looking. (Did you know he went to cosmetology school? LOL) So he won and we ended up going an hour and I didn't end up with blond highlights! I ended up with blonde hair and brown highlights! LOL It is a LOT blonder than I wanted but I guess I'll have to live with it! So men, what's the moral of this story? ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR WIFE!!
