He's HERE!!

We went down wed. night to stay in a motel in Ogden. I had contractions pretty much all the way down there about every 8 min. We got checked in to the motel and ordered in pizza and tried to relax and calm down. I turned the t.v. off at 11:30 and tried to get some sleep. I of course couldn't really sleep and was checking the clock constantly. I rolled over in bed to check the clock and saw it was 3:00a.m. when I felt a lil gush. I ran to the bathroom, scared to look, because I felt the same thing with MaShayla and her's was blood from the placenta abruption. Thankfully this time no blood but my water had broken. So we packed up and checked out of our motel room at about 3:15 and the lady gave us some strange looks checking out in the middle of the night! LOL! Got to the hospital. Got admitted and hooked up to monitors and then tried to start an i.v. After 4 sticks and blown veins and throwing up, they finally got one but I look like a drug user! My arms are so bruised! They checked my cervix and I was almost a 5. I was having reg. contractions on my own and I got an epidural at about 6:30. I got really really sick and started puking again and my blood pressure had dropped to 72/38 so they gave me some epinephrine. But all through this the baby looked awesome! The contractions kind of fizzled out and so they turned on the pitocin at a lil after 7 and checked me again and I was a 6. They checked me about 10 and I was complete but we just kept letting the contractions bring his head down more on their own. I have always had to push for 2 or 3 hours and so I was scared to start pushing but I started pushing about 10:30 and he was born at 10:48!! I was so happy! I couldn't believe he came that fast! He came out with 1 hand at the same time as his head and was waving to the world! He was so sweet! He weighed 8 lbs 14 oz and was 19.5 inches long. We finally decided yesterday (because we couldn't leave the hospital w/out a name) to name him Kamdyn Blayke. It fits him and I love Kamdyn and wanted it and Ryan wanted Blayke so we just combined those 2. He nurses like a champ but last night was VERY long! He just wanted to eat all night! My milk hasn't come in too good yet but it's getting there. Here are some pics you can check out!

baby update....

Just wanted to update everyone and let you know that my induction is scheduled for June 12th. I am very nervous but we are all excited to finally meet this little guy!! Wish us luck and send us prayers that all goes well!

Let's take a swim!!

Yes this is our front yard! The bank on the ditch is washed out and with the heat we had over the weekend and beginning of the week, it has flooded! We had to move the trampoline and the swing set. They were both under water. But I have to tell you it has been a little convenient when the town lost all of our water, we used this to flush the toilets!The water for the town is now back on but we have a mandatory boil in affect for who knows how long. The kids have had a blast being out of school for 2 days. They have spent it frog hunting in the water. We tried to tell them it was 2 deep but, alas, what do we know. We are just the parents! So hey if anyone wants to come over for a swim, feel free!

35 weeks 3 days and counting!!

Ryan insisted that I have a picture of me and the baby on the blog. Don't ask me why! I look like a beached whale and I had had been having a crappy morning so the picture is REALLY bad. MaShayla took it for me because Ry was at work. I am now 36 weeks today but the picture was taken at 35 weeks and 3 days. My next appointment is on the 29th and it will probably be my last and we'll schedule the induction/c-section then. This poor lil guy still doesn't have a name but I have my picks and hopefully I'll win!! :)

It's PARTY time!!

Kyler recently celebrated his 4th birthday! I can't believe he is that old! We had a party for him with family on the 26th and on his birthday, the 28th, we took him with us to Ogden for my dr. appointment. He picked Olive Garden for lunch, although I have no idea why. He HATES pasta and anything to do with noodles, but he insisted! LOL! It was a long drive for him and he kept saying are we in Noggin yet? It was too cute! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG BOY!! WE LOVE YOU!!

Happy Easter!!

Yes I am a day late and a dollar short but here are my easter pics from this year! This year was so much better that last year! Last year I had to go in for my d&c the day after Easter so that made for a very grim Easter. But enough of the sad stuff! Easter was very fun this year and we ate dinner at our house with my side of the family and I just realized I took no pictures! DANG IT!! We had fun though! Oh, Please excuse my sons with no shirts on. They refused to go put old shirts on! :( Stubborn boys!

We also got an Easter surprise and my neice Dana had her baby girl that day! I can't wait to meet her!!

Now doesn't Easter mean that Spring should be here? I am so sick of the wind and snow. I know the ranchers are grateful for the snow but I am really sick of it and am thinking about moving somewhere tropical!! PLEASE, RYAN?!!!!

4D ultrasound

Yesterday we had our big ultrasound appointment. It was very cool and we got to see the heart really, really good and the kidneys and bladder and all that fun stuff! :) We also got some really good pictures of the lil guy. We got to listen to the heart beat through the blood flow of the umbilical cord and it sounded AWESOME!! He weighs 1lb 11 oz and looks great! Now if he only had a name! LOL! He was sucking his thumb and had the hiccups so we got to watch him on screen hiccupping. He also kep opening and closing his mouth, drinking the amniotic fluid. It was very neat!

IT'S A BOY!!

So we know for sure we are getting a boy in June! We are excited but I have to say I was surprised by how upset Keaton was. He REALLY wanted a baby sister but he has adjusted to the idea now and is excited. I am still scared to buy stuff for the baby and I feel like I'll jinx myself! I am just praying all stays well with this little guy (who has yet to be named!) The 6th is our 4D ultrasound and I can't wait to post those pics! So hopefully I'll get it updated soon after the 6th!

MY NEW RIDE!!

YES!! I FINALLY got an expedition! I have been wanting one for....well for as long as I can remamber! :) We got it on Saturday the 12th and I am having a ball with it! It is a 2004 eddie bauer edition with leather, 6 disc changer, back seats that fold down flat automatically, moon roof, heated AND air conditioned seats.... hmmm let's see.... did I miss anything?! Can't think of anything else right now! So without further ado............here's my car!
