So I decided to try and attempt Photoshop elements. This is my 1st attempt at anything too creative I have made. I also have done a couple of pics with topaz filter. They are the ones below the collage.

Ky's 1st day of preschool

Ky was so excited to go to school! He came up this morning all bleary eyed and his his pajamas still. But he was holding his back pack. Ryan asked him what he was doing and he said :"I don't know but I need my back pack!" LOL! He did finally wake up enough to get dressed and couldn't wait to get out the door. We finally got him to school and he did exactly what I thought he would. Got totally shy and didn't want me to leave him and started to cry a little. I got him convince I would be back for him and then he reluctantly let go of the death grip he had around my neck and let me put him down. When I picked him up from school, I asked him if he had fun and he said: I didn't have a verwy good day because thewre was a guurl wif a 2 seater bike and she wouldn't shawre wif me! LOL! AWWWW!! POOR KID!!

Hurdsman Grandkids

This is all the kids on Ryan's side of the family. They are (from right to left) Keaton and Kamdyn, Kyler, Travyn, Kyce, Brooklyn, Nate, MaShayla and Cody, Natalie.

Robert and Kyler

This is a true story of friendship that has a tragic ending. There once was a boy named Kyler. He was a very loving boy that all the animals loved. One day, at the Carpenter family reunion, he found a grasshopper. He named him Robert. All day long that lil grasshopper hung out with Kyler, just sitting on his shirt or head. They had so much fun that day. Well that evening, a storm came. And it got really dark & really cold. It was too cold for poor Robert & he died. Kyler cried & cried until he fell asleep. But while Robert was alive, he found a lifelong friend in Kyler!

We took this pic at our family reunion. We are only missing 5 of us. Tim, Dana, John, Hailee, and Camryn. Hopefully next time we can get everyone!

Class is in Session!!

MaShayla and Keaton went back to school on Aug. 26th. They were a lil bit excited to say the least, the very least! LOL!! Even Keaton was ready to go back! MaShayla is in 4th grade this year and has Mr. Argyle and Keaton is in 2nd grade and has Mr. Erickson. We are VERY thrilled and thankful for those teachers. They are both in our ward and AWESOME AWESOME teachers!!

Mirror Lake and Provo River Falls

On Monday we decided to go to Park City....the only thing was, we decided to take the LONG way. So we went to Evanston with our lil family and one "adopted" daughter, Abbey. Got gas and lunch at McDonalds then headed out past the movie theaters and through Hilliard. Traveled up to Mirror Lake and let the kids play in the water for a minute and took some pictures.

Then we traveled a lil further up the road to Provo River falls. It is absolutely beautiful there! Very awesome! Ryan kept saying this is so awesome, this is so neat! I told him I was going to count how many times he said awesome that day. He didn't think I was very funny!! LOL!!

Then we traveled from there through the rest of wasatch national forest and there was a moose right there on the side of the road. So I got out and took pics. Honestly, this moose wasn't further than 20 feet away from me! Then we went into Kamas and up to Park City. It only took us 4.5 hours to get to Prak City but the drive was beautiful!!

So I decided we needed some fam pics with lil Kam in them so I did our own in our front yard. Not the best but they turned out ok.

2 months old already??

I can't believe Kamdyn is already 2 months old! Where has the time gone?!! On the 12th he weighed 12 lbs. 9 oz and was 23" long. I can't believe how big he is getting!!
